CLAYTON A. CHAN, D.D.S.

Dentist

A SHORT BIOGRAPHY

Clayton A. Chan, D.D.S. is a general dentist who practices in Las Vegas, Nevada. He has received his D.D.S. degree from Loma Linda University, School of Dentistry in Southern California. He focuses his private practice on aesthetic craniomandibular orthopedics, functional orthodontics, TMJ and full mouth rehabilitation, implementing the concepts and principles he teaches.

He is considered by many to be an authority on Neuromuscular Dentistry, Gnathologics and Occlusion. His training and experience as a general dentist and dental laboratory technician along with training in the areas of gnathology, TMD, orthodontics and neuromuscular occlusal concepts has helped him convey a unique clinical message to dentists, specialists and dental leaders.

He lectures nationally and internationally on neuromuscular occlusion and its clinical relevance to comprehensive reconstruction, TMD, and orthodontics. He is an educator to thousands of dentists around the world as well as mentor, teacher, councilor and supporter to dental study clubs and organizations in North America.

  • “I remain a “general dentist”, purposely not specializing in any particular area of dentistry, which would limit my scope of care and ability to treat my patients comprehensively.”

He inspires and motivates dentists to take their practice to the next level, instilling in them the confidence, knowledge and skills necessary to go beyond the traditional teachings and techniques of the profession. Over the years he has earned the following designations, but prefers most of all to be recognized simply as ” A Dentist”.
